Project Introduction

Starting Point: Reducing the Digital Divide

Kenya, as one of the political and economic hubs of East Africa, has seen government efforts to raise national education standards. However, in resource-scarce and teacher-deficient remote areas, educational resources remain extremely limited. This inequality not only restricts students' learning opportunities but also impacts the development of entire communities.

Through years of effort, we have established 39 computer classrooms across various schools in Kenya, donated and installed over 1,800 computers, benefiting a total of 19,400 people. Our annual visits aim not only to enhance the IT skills of Kenyan students but also to bring transformative changes to local teaching methods.

 Continuation: Sustaining Project Impact

We train Kenyan university students to become seed teachers, continuing our team's ICT education initiatives in the region. By visiting unserved schools, we continuously explore new ICT education needs and potential collaborations. Additionally, by revisiting old schools, we assess the effectiveness of our previous service strategies. Building on the experiences and insights gained from past East Africa teams, we are not only committed to sustaining the impact of previous projects but also identifying new needs. The widespread adoption of ICT education not only equips children with opportunities for the future but also ignites their curiosity and hope for the world. We hold this belief dear and hope to bring the dawn of ICT education to resource-limited areas.
