Project introduction
This time, the "Malaysian International Volunteer Group" promotes teaching programs and goes to local services with full enthusiasm. In view of the fact that the United Nations announced the "Sustainable Development Goals" in 2015, in order to mobilize the world towards a common future by 2030, the United Nations development goals include 17 priorities. Therefore, we hope to use the “4+1 Project” to integrate information education, art design, chemical experiments, and sustainability issues, and lead Malaysian high school students to explore culture and careers from a global perspective.
Service Benefits
The actual participants are all the target groups of our program services. Through an after-class questionnaire survey, it was found that every project content received a high degree of satisfaction, with the very satisfied rate reaching 80.2%. Information equipment is relatively limited. In order to make up for the digital gap, we raised 6 recycled computers from ASUS. In addition to being used by students, we also use them for teaching. At the same time, the students’ tabular statistics also revealed that the students’ interest in the program has increased after participating in the course. This shows that the program not only conveys academic knowledge, but also successfully stimulates students’ desire for knowledge and motivation for future exploration. They will be driven to continuously learn and grow, which I believe is one of the keys to long-term sustained results.
Future Prospects
This "Hua" service trip to Malaysia for the Next New Century International Volunteer Team gave us a deep understanding of the importance of cross-cultural exchanges and education. Looking forward to the future, we will be committed to a deeper understanding of the needs and development of the service areas, conduct more comprehensive investigations and preparations in advance, and ensure that the designed courses are closer to the actual
needs of local students. We plan to strengthen cooperation with local schools and communities in future volunteer services and establish long-term and stable cooperative relationships. Through such cooperation, we hope to not only enhance students' learning interests and abilities in the short term, but also have a lasting positive impact on the local education environment. In addition, we will further develop the adaptability and teaching skills of team members, and improve the quality of the overall volunteer team through regular training and exchanges. We will also introduce more innovative teaching methods to make the courses more lively and interesting, attracting students to actively participate and learn. In future volunteer services, we plan to expand the scope of courses to cover more diverse topics, such as environmental protection, technological innovation and career planning, to help students develop in an all-round way. At the same time, we will continue to hold various meaningful activities, such as second-hand markets, to allow students to better understand the concept of sustainable development.
