服務計畫簡介：
元智大學國際志工泰北團到泰北異域華人學校清萊省滿星疊大同中學，進行為期15天的志願教學服務。志工團隊由課外組林秀珠老師帶領10位學生包含華碩志工，攜帶華碩文教基金會捐贈的10台再生筆電、玩具圖書館的玩具背包及教育部、桃園市政府青年事務局、華碩的資助。歷經10小時的旅程抵達泰北大同中學，為超過1500位從幼兒園到高三的孤軍後裔學生提供資訊、語言、美學與文化教育服務。
服務成果：
除了進班教學，還規劃了資訊課程「智慧程式.創作視界」、中文課程「字字珠璣」、「珍珠奶茶台灣手搖飲體驗」、「植浪創藝」的文化美學課程及元智團隊創的最受歡迎的英語歌唱比賽，等豐富多元課程，為大同學子提供全面而有趣的學習體驗並激發他們的學習熱情。如:基礎遊戲開發入門課程，讓學生了解科技業與遊戲相關的職業，這不僅開闊了學生的視野，也為他們未來的職業規劃提供了新的思路，此外美術課程海浪裝飾和植物噴扇畫，不僅培養了學生的藝術創造力，也帶入環保及永續概念。
在教學過程中，我們深刻體會到教學不僅是知識的傳遞，更是情感的交流。學生們的熱情和積極性常常超出我們的預期，這種純粹的學習態度讓我們深受感動。無論是在英語課上積極參與討論，還是在課後自主練習歌曲和舞蹈，學生們的表現都讓我們感受到教育的魅力和意義。
未來展望：
每當看到學生們露出燦爛的笑容，並熱切詢問下一堂課的內容時，我們的心中就充滿了成就感和喜悅。這種經歷讓我們更加堅定了志工服務的價值。將繼續傳承泰北服務計畫及挹注華碩再生筆電以優化大同中學師生資訊教育與教學品質，這趟服務不僅讓我們有機會為當地學生提供教育資源，也讓我們每個成員都有了深刻的成長和感悟。當我們回首這段經歷時，內心仍然充滿著感動和感恩。希望我們的服務經驗能分享給更多人，進而鼓勵更多青年參與國際志工服務，擴大服務的影響力。
Project Introduction
The Yuan Ze University International Volunteer Team traveled to Datong High School in Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai Province, a school for overseas Chinese in Northern Thailand, for a 15-day volunteer teaching service. The team, led by Ms. Lin Hsiu-Chu from the extracurricular activities office, consisted of 10 students, including ASUS volunteers. They brought 10 refurbished laptops donated by the ASUS Education Foundation, toy backpacks from the Toy Library, and sponsorship from the Ministry of Education, the Taoyuan City Government's Youth Affairs Bureau, and ASUS. After a 10-hour journey, they arrived at Datong High School, where they provided information technology, language, aesthetics, and cultural education to over 1,500 students, ranging from kindergarten to high school seniors, who are descendants of exiled soldiers.
Service Benefits
In addition to regular classroom teaching, the team planned various courses, including the information technology course "Smart Programming: Creative Vision," the Chinese course "The Art of Words," the "Taiwan Bubble Tea Hand-Shake Experience," the cultural aesthetics course "Creative Waves," and the most popular event, an English singing competition organized by the Yuan Ze team. These rich and diverse courses provided Datong students with a comprehensive and engaging learning experience, igniting their passion for learning. For example, the introductory game development course helped students understand careers related to the tech and gaming industries, broadening their horizons and offering new insights into career planning. Furthermore, art courses such as wave decoration and plant spray painting not only nurtured the students' artistic creativity but also introduced concepts of environmental protection and sustainability. Throughout the teaching process, we deeply realized that education is not just about knowledge transfer but also about emotional connection. The students' enthusiasm and proactive participation often exceeded our expectations, and their pure learning attitude moved us deeply. Whether actively engaging in discussions during English class or practicing songs and dances after class, the students' performance made us feel the true charm and significance of education.
Future Prospects
Every time we saw the students' bright smiles and their eagerness to ask about the next lesson, our hearts were filled with a sense of accomplishment and joy. This experience has strengthened our belief in the value of volunteer service. We will continue to carry forward the Northern Thailand service project and contribute ASUS's refurbished laptops to enhance the information technology education and teaching quality at Datong High School. This service not only gave us the opportunity to provide educational resources to local students but also allowed each of our team members to experience profound growth and reflection. Looking back on this journey, we are still filled with emotion and gratitude. We hope to share our service experience with more people and encourage more young people to participate in international volunteer service, expanding the impact of our efforts.
